The brand new Ronin GUI – now written in ANSI C for multi-platform compatibility and easy installation.
Thanks to all the early adopters who passed on their feedback – we want the Ronin 802 to be as useful and user friendly as possible, so keep it coming in. And don’t forget, the Ronin 802 is an open project, so if you want to contribute please do!
Here’s a sneak preview of the new Ronin GUI. We’ve been writing it in ANSI C over the past few weeks and it’s nearly ready. It has extra features, will be more compatible with different operating systems, and will be much easier to install.
Keep checking this website for an update of when it’s available for free download.
We’re also bringing out some video tutorials to go with the new Ronin GUI. Drop us an email on email@example.com if there’s a specific tutorial you’d like to see, and subscribe to our Youtube channel to see all the new videos as soon as they come out. In the mean time you can check out “Setting up for the Ronin GUI” to help you get started:
The Sonodrome team is very pleased to announce that the Ronin 802 is now available for purchase! Manufactured in the UK, this new breed of open source stand alone digital synthesizer is Arduino compatible, and offers a flexible platform for the development of custom electronic instruments and sound processing units. For none-code-monkeys it comes complete with a Graphical User Interface, and as usual the Sonodrome team are always on hand to answer any questions, or help you along with your Ronin 802 based projects. Just drop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
After many months of development and testing, the Ronin 802 has now been signed off and the first batch of boards are currently being manufactured. These will be available to buy from this site soon. Feel free to get in touch with any questions, and visit our Sourceforge page to submit your contributions.
The Ronin 802 synthesizer shield for Arduino is coming soon!
So far we have produced five different versions of the Ronin 802, and we are now in the final stages of the design process. Over the next two weeks we will be scrutinizing the hardware and taking suggestions from the electrical engineering community for possible improvements. At the end of this two week period we will be ordering a final production prototype. Once we are happy with this prototype, the first batch of boards will be manufactured and will be available to buy before Christmas.
The Ronin 802 will be available to purchase online through this website.
